Question: You’ve never travelled outside of Japan?
Answer: “Actually, I have travelled outside of Japan. I just meant that I haven’t gone overseas in a few years. I’m planning on taking another trip to Europe next year.”

Question: You don’t think golf is a real sport?
Answer: “No, I don’t. I think it’s more of a fun hobby because you get to ride around in a golf cart.” (Note: JP sensei thinks golf is a sport :o)

Question: Your parents didn’t want you to attend university?
Answer: “Well, they wanted me to attend, but I wanted to go to a college that was very expensive and far away and they didn’t want me to attend that university. They hoped that I would go to the university in our city.”
